Tani founded his first mobile DJ company,
Another Dimension, in the early ‘90s. After earning a Broadcasting degree at
SFSU, he worked as Promotion Manager at California Music Channel, also
spending years working with and owning independent recording companies. Some
better known projects include One Voice (Kamikaze), Import Jams (888
Entertainment), and RMX Modern. However, Tani never lost sight of what he
does best, spinning records and making people dance. Tani has a keen sense
of reading a crowd and knowing how to keep the vibe flowing. He works
closely with you to review all your special requests. Tani’s goal: You and
your guests have a great time, EVERY TIME!!! |

Cody Smith
Cody Smith is also new to our roster for 2007. Cody, more commonly
known as DJ Cocheze, is most notable for his contributions to Hip
Hop. However, once you speak with him directly, you’ll know he’s a
versatile musician - having a genuine love for every genre of music.
Originally from a musical family, Cody expresses himself through
music. He plays clubs and special events across the country, and
continues to be a resident DJ at many Bay Area clubs, underground
parties and festivals. Although you may think he’s most comfortable
spinning Hip Hop, Soul & Funk - he has an extensive library of
standards, rock, pop, disco and jazz. |
 | Orven Palencia
Orven Palencia is among our family’s most diversely talented musicians. Orven also comes from a family of musicians - his dad and brother both
renowned bandleaders, as well an established musician himself. However, his true talent is his ability to play exactly what the crowd will dance too. Orven spends a great deal of time planning the evening, but he also ‘reads’ the crowd and plays the songs that might not otherwise have been on his play list. Orven has been DJ'ing for more than 15 years, at private events, public events, corporate function and weddings. |

Nicholas Mondero
Nick is new to our roster for 2007. He started his career in college,
mixing for private parties and social events while attending San Diego
State University. He met up with other local DJs and formed his own
mobile DJ company, hosting corporate and social functions, weddings and
other special events. Nick spends time reviewing song selections with
clients, understanding each client’s needs and wants; while making
recommendations based on his years of mobile experience. |
 | Franco Finn
Franco Finn started his career in college, mixing for private parties, weddings and campus events. After graduation, Franco went on to land an on-air position at KMKY in San Francisco and is the host for Spin TV on KTSF in San Francisco. But his passion continues to be private parties. His repertoire features more than 14,000 music titles in both vinyl and
CD format, including Top 40 Favorites, Rock n Roll, Oldies, Hip-Hop, Dance, Swing and even Salsa! This interactive DJ / MC can host any party and play awesome music that'll keep everyone on the dance floor! Upon request, Franco will bring interactive party games, like the Hula Hoop Contest, Shoe & T-shirt Relay, Name That Tune, the Mummy Game! Great for team building, a good laugh and a great time! |

Jason Banares comes from a family of musicians, and has been DJ'ing for 5 years. Although the youngest in our family of DJs and Emcees, Jason has a unique advantage, since his brother and father both in the private event industry. Jason regularly plays club events and private parties - and he is at home at weddings and corporate functions, having grown up in that environment. His repertoire features more than 10,000 music titles, an
eclectic mix of Top 40, Rock, Disco, Oldies, Hip-Hop, 80’s Pop, Dance, Swing, Jazz,
